Art class

A creative soul who has combined a love of drawing, painting, and writing since childhood. She developed her artistic talent through study and courses and naturally transfers it into her work for children, including her own fairy tales.

A few words about Anička

Anna graduated from an eight-year general secondary school and then studied media studies with a focus on journalism at Jan Amos Komenský University in Prague. She has loved drawing and painting since childhood. She still has her diary with her first paintings and likes to show it to her two young children, who also enjoy drawing and creating. Her six-year-old son has even had his fourth exhibition of paintings with his father, an academic painter and sculptor.
She continued to develop her artistic talent at university, where she began taking private drawing and painting lessons, attended summer courses at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, took evening classes in drawing from live models, and also began attending classes taught by academic painter Miroslav Pesche and academic painter Filip Kudrnáč at the Praga Prima studio. Thanks to her studies, she was then able to illustrate the biographical works she wrote on commission. She thus combined her love of drawing and writing. During her parental leave, she wrote fairy tales for children – Motýli od motýlího keře (Butterflies from the Butterfly Bush), which she enjoys reading to her two children.
Anička’s hobbies include playing the piano and saxophone. She is a member of the Černokostelec Castle Orchestra. She enjoys yoga, running, dancing, playing basketball, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her two little darlings, because, as she says, „There is nothing more important than time spent with children.“
